For this project, the college wanted to match the stone veneer on an existing building on campus, however, the stone originally used for this historical structure was no longer available. Over the years, some poor matches had been attempted. Trowel Trades was brought in to consult on the selection of a better rubble stone match. Much work went into getting just the exact blend of ashlar strips and roughly square / roughly rectangular stones in the right orientation to match the existing stone on the original building.

"Performed well - professional job.Beginning of the process - gave the client three different stones to choose from...Very timely - beginning with an agent on top of the ball. At the high end of the company. Very honest people - the best thing we can get is information and they do a terrific job of keeping everyone informed. It is clear that they address any issues they have - they pay attention to what they are doing - and learn from any difficulties they have had in the past.
Look forward to working with them again."

"Very Happy. Dealt with Gene in the beginning in providing specific needs and stones that meet those needs.Assisted in mock ups - nice options to pick from -- samples that were helpful.
Call up for sample -- certain color, certain stone - send some things back.
He has a good eye.Sharing information helps build the relationship."
